Creative Club is Back!

Structured. Skill-Focused. Guided.
Fendig's instructor led,  craft club with three sessions each month from March - May for students grades 1 -12


 • Step-by-step projects
• New technique each session
• Clear instruction and completed take-home projects
• Great for students who like direction and learning specific skills

Creative Club builds creative foundations through guided experiences.
 
Join us Mondays at the time session for your student's age group listed below. 

$20 / class or reserve your spot for all three sessions at $45/month
To reserve your spot for the duration of this Creative Club session, only pay $125 for the three months. 
Invoice will be sent based on your preference following registration.

Fendig's Open Lab

Fendig Theatre for Children invites students to join our new after-school Open Lab — a creative space where imagination takes the lead.

Drop in on Wednesdays from 3:00–6:30 PM (CDT) to explore hands-on creative projects in theatre, art, and design. Begin with guided starter activities provided by us, then bring your own ideas to life—let’s get creative.  You can even bring your own projects.

There’s no experience necessary —just curiosity, creativity, and a love for making things.

No Registration Required - Pay for Spring Passes
No pre-registration is required at this time but click the button above to pay ahead for your sessions or purchase a spring pass for a slight discount. 

Ideas to use this time: 

  • Paint + Draw with our art supplies provided
  • Get guided instruction and access to print 3D prints using our 3D printer
  • Explore model making and creative uses for cardboard by using our Chomp Saw
  • Beginning sewing projects and learn how to use a sewing machine
  • Use our collection of magazines and papers to collage, junk journal and more
  • Make your own sketchbook, marble run tracks, puppets, and whatever you can imagine

Puppet Workshops

Build it. Voice it. Bring it to life. Curriculum supported through DramaNotebook Library.
In this hands-on workshop series, students will design and create their own puppets while learning how to tell stories through movement, voice, and character.

Through guided building, improvisation, and mini-performances, participants will:
• Create original puppet characters
• Learn basic puppet construction techniques
• Practice storytelling and scene-building
• Build confidence and collaboration skills

 Grades 1–3: Storytelling through imaginative puppet play
Grades 4–8: Puppet construction + collaborative scenes
Grades 9–12: Advanced design, character work, and performance technique

All materials included.
No experience necessary.

  • 5:00–6:00 – Grades 4–8 - $75.00
