Audition sign ups are here: Sign up for an audition May 14 + 15 from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. or May 16 from 10 a.m. - Noon.

Auditions take place at Fendig Headquarters, 503 S. Melville St in Rensselaer. Be sure to sign up for an audition time and fill out the registration.

Anderson, Raegan and Terra are excited for you to join us this summer and encourage everyone to audition and bring a friend. It’s free and everyone grades 4 - 8 gets a part!

The Magician's Elephant

Fendig Theatre for Children proudly presents, The Magician’s Elephant..
This production features special technical elements, including a GIANT puppet elephant that we will need help bringing to life.

This show is relativley new and we are thrilled to be able to bring this story to life. Learn all about "The Magician's Elephant" in our PDF guide where you can watch a synopsis, a trailer and listen to the cast recordings. Read the script and view the character list at MTI's website as we prepare for auditions for this magical show. ​

Performances will take place on July 9, 10 ,11 at RCHS Auditorium. We can't wait to see you be a part of the production as a patron or a participant! ​

​We help children discover themselves, build confidence and connect with their community through creative/performing arts activities.
Over the past fifty years Fendig Theatre for Children has provided a high quality theatre experience for the community of Rensselaer, Indiana. We use theatre to help our participants develop a sense of community while allowing them to be involved in all aspects of theatre including the technical elements. Since Fendig started we have had almost 3,000 people involved in our productions at no cost thanks to the support of our community.
