About the Performances
Fendig Theatre for Children will be hosting outdoor performances of two shows - each ticket includes entry to both Xanadu JR and Disney's Moana JR! Each show will be approximately one hour in length. Thursday, July 8th, 6:30 p.m. CST Friday, July 9th, 6:30 p.m. CST Saturday, July 10th, 1:00 p.m. CST Sunday, July 11th | 1:00 p.m. CST, Rain Date

In cooperation with the City of Rensselaer and the Rensselaer Parks Department, the shows will be performed in Foundation Park (the site of the old Monnett Elementary).
Tickets are general admission and seating is first come, first served. Upon arrival you will be directed to free parking & asked to check-in to receive your ticket at will call. There will be an intermission between the two performances.
Please bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. There will be a very limited amount of chairs available for those who can’t bring their own. For more accessibility concerns, please click the button below to submit a contact form.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No Refunds or Exchanges will be given. Rain date for this performance is Sunday, July 11 at 1:00 pm CST.
I don’t have a chair or picnic blanket, can I still attend the performance?
Yes! A limited number of chairs will be available for those who can’t provide their own. For accessibility concerns or to request a chair, please contact us at the button below.
Are tickets available for pre-sale at local businesses?
Yes! Tickets are also available at the pre-sale price of $8 at Jordan’s and Brown’s Garden and Floral Shoppe.
Why is there a fee to pay for my pre-sale ticket?
Fendig Theatre for Children appreciates your patience and support in paying for the $1.17 online payment processing fees for these performances so that the remainder of the ticket price can go towards performing this show and other activities in the future.
I bought my ticket online, when do I get it?
Thank you for purchasing a ticket. Upon arrival at Foundation Park the night of the performance, please check in at the will call station to receive your tickets.
What happens if it rains on the night of the performance I purchased my ticket for?
If it rains, please plan on attending the rain date performance scheduled for Sunday, July 11th at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Foundation Park. Your ticket is not exchangeable for other nights of the performance and cannot be refunded.
If you purchased your ticket online, you will be sent an email notification to the email your purchase was made with. If you purchased your ticket at a business or are planning on attending the day of, be sure to follow us on Facebook for updates.
Is my ticket good for both Xanadu JR & Disney's Moana JR! ?
Yes! One ticket gets you admission to both one act performances. There will be a longer intermission in between shows to allow for set up and transition.
How do I pick my seat when I arrive?
Our performance will be in the round, meaning you can sit all the way around the stage to view our shows. These shows are general admission seating. No seats will be reserved.
Where is Foundation Park?
Foundation Park is located at 615 W. Grove Street, Rensselaer, IN 47978 or the previous site of the old Monnett Elementary. There is limited signage, but look for the stage & others camped out for the performance.
Can my ticket be refunded after I purchase it?
Tickets cannot be refunded. Thank you for your understanding in presenting our 46th season.
