Work virtually one on one with Blake to gain confidence, learn techniques, and explore songs from musical theatre. All lessons are catered toward the needs and goals of each participant and will last 30 minutes per lesson.



Participants will have the opportunity to choose a song to practice and perform throughout six weeks of lessons with direct feedback and assistance from the Fendig Staff. Lessons will also focus on expanding range and gaining control of their voice.

Blake Rushing - Instructor

Blake is thrilled to be back teaching private voice lessons with Fendig. He has worked for Fendig for four summers. Blake choreographed Fendig’s 2015 production of Mary Poppins, directed Fendig’s 2018 and 2019 productions of Disney’s Newsies and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and is currently on staff with the Fendig Theatre Experience
Blake currently lives in New York City, and recently finished working as the Child Casting Assistant for the 1st season of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo and the 51st season of Sesame Street. Blake’s training includes the integrated musical theatre program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, and five summers with the Broadway Theatre Project where Blake was an Apprentice, Intern, and Junior Faculty Member. 

Blake is excited to have more opportunities to work with the young artists with Fendig.
